Lapbook pictures

Highlights:
Touring the Local Post Office was a real treat. After learning how our postman sorted and delivered our mail, he "cancelled" the kids hands and gave them a couple of activity books about stamp collecting and our postal system. The girls really enjoyed the study of stamps and had fun designing thier own stamp.

The Hickory Chair

Display table items: Cotton batting and hand-held microscope, Miss Hickory book, Let's Go To the Museum book, a"hickory forest and hickory tree house" made from construction paper.

Highlights:
The lesson most enjoyed was the mixed meduim art lesson, even my "I don't like art" daughter spent hours making fabric and acrylic paint pictures.

Hanna's Cold Winter
